Where do you control Claude's memory, and what can you do there?

The principle — memory is opt-in and reversible, and the controls sit in one place.

Why the key is correct — the setting lives under Settings and then Memory, where generating memory from chats is switched on. The same screen lets you pause it, keeping what exists without adding more, or reset it, which permanently deletes what has been remembered.

Why the others are wrong — there is no per-message tagging, memory is not compulsory, and no support request is involved.
