What does upgrading from the free tier to a paid Claude plan mainly give you?

The principle — a plan buys capacity and access, never a different or safer Claude.

Why the key is correct — Anthropic's pricing describes paid plans as everything in Free plus more usage, along with additional surfaces such as Claude Code. Higher tiers raise the allowance further.

Why the others are wrong — nobody gets a privately trained model from a subscription. History is not deleted daily on the free tier. And no plan validates the answers you are given.

Remember this — you are buying room to work, not a better-behaved assistant.
