Three weeks ago, on your Pro plan, you worked out a pricing approach with Claude and cannot remember which conversation it was in. What can you do?

The principle — your conversations are searchable, so an answer you worked out once does not have to be worked out again.

Why the key is correct — Anthropic says you can prompt Claude to search through your previous conversations to find and reference relevant information in new chats. Asking in plain language — "find where we discussed pricing" — is the whole interface.

Why the others are wrong — a data export is for portability, not lookup; ordinary chats are saved rather than discarded when you close them; and a record plainly exists, it simply is not carried across on its own.

Remember this — searching past chats is a paid-plan feature, on web, desktop and mobile.
